Welcome to the Coach Chuck Heart Transplant Fund
We are here to raise funds to assist Coach Chuck with costs related to his need for a heart transplant.
Coach Chuck, age 47, is married to Sherri. They have five children. Chuck is a second year medical student at Rush University Medical School, Justin currently resides in Rockford, and Tony, Josh and Melanie are all students at Woodstock Community High School. While Chuck has been unable to work for over one and a half years, he was considered ineligible for disability income until June 30, 2008. Chuck’s family does have health insurance, but it only covers a portion of the medical expenses. In the near future, the family will be required to cover 20% of the transplant costs, in addition to other medical and prescription expenses that have or will accumulate. In the meantime, Chuck and his wife still have to cover the expenses of his family’s daily living.
